Chalet Lumière has been built in the traditional Alpine style, yet with a modern and contemporary twist. ‘Lumière’ means ‘light’ in French and describes the ambience of the interior of this chalet perfectly. It has a spacious living area over four floors and, with the benefit of the high ceilinged sitting area with its open fireplace, ensures that everyone has plenty of space to relax. The large dining area is just right for the whole group to linger over the superbly cooked dinners and wines provided by the chalet staff. Equipped with all modern media conveniences such as the home cinema with its drop down screen, and the pool table in the games room, you are assured of plenty of entertainment if you want to enjoy cosy evenings in front of the fire. With its five bedrooms and bathrooms, Chalet Lumière is the perfect setting for a family gathering or holiday with a group of friends.

Located in the exclusive and private Les Bois area of Chamonix, it provides magnificent views of the majestic Mont Blanc and Les Drus mountains, and is only a minute’s chauffeured drive from the Flegere lift station and four minutes from Chamonix town centre.

Chamonix has superb on and off-piste skiing, together with a variety of other alpine experiences to enjoy when not on the pistes, such as sledging, sleigh rides and tabogganing.  On returning to your chalet, you can refresh in the sauna or in the outdoor jacuzzi. Relax on the balcony, face the mountains and absorb the Alpine atmosphere, where you can read, day-dream or just muse on the miracles of life. The après ski is world renowned, or if you fancy a cosy night in front of your open fire, the home cinema provides ample entertainment.

In Summer, clear crisp mountain air with stunning scenery invites you to hike through colourful alpine meadows full of flowers and scented pine woods. Activities, suitable for young and old, range from golf, painting, mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding, white-water rafting, nature park visits, mountaineering, tennis, riding, ballooning, climbing, and swimming at the water park.
