The chalet has been lovingly renovated, retaining the warm ambience of this 400 year-old Savoyard farmhouse; original timber beams and rustic stone walls combine with comfy sofas, wolf fur throws and cow hide rugs, that all contribute to creating a special alpine experience.
The pièce de résistance is the open-plan living/dining area that spreads out beneath the vaulted stone ceiling. As Sean Newsom of the Sunday Times put it: ‘anyone raised on the utilitarian standards of most Alpine accommodation will be struck dumb’.
The chalet sleeps 12 or 13 in its six cosy bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Thoughtful touches include feather duvets and pillows, fluffy towels and a cosy bathrobe. The chalet decor enhances the warm colours of the region, with Savoyard touches and traditional furniture… you will feel so comfortable & relaxed it will be a wrench to leave at the end of your stay.
Thoroughly contemporary en-suite bathrooms feature designer taps, under floor heating & White Company products to ensure the very best of creature comforts.
