Built in 1956, its open log fires, stripped wooden floors, oil paintings and antiques bring character and warmth to rival any Alpine chalet. The friendly atmosphere speaks of many enjoyed ski holidays over the years and instantly sets the tone for one’s own party.

The hand picked and enthusiastic chalet staff are there to look after your every need. If you choose the fully catered option, the in-house manager will guide you around the slopes and organise any other day-time activities, while the experienced and outstanding chef will prepare an exquisite four-course dinner five nights a week. The standard of both catering and hospitality staff is suitably very high in order to complement that of the chalet itself.

The two hostesses are there to create a worry free holiday, from organising ski school and entertainment for the children, to making sure you are sent back with a suitcase of clean clothes. An office is provided for those who cannot totally break free from the demands of life back home and free internet access, PC and facsimile machine are at the guests’ disposal.

Domaine de la Baronne has many extra features that make it much more than simply a ski chalet - use of its private garden and garage parking - that deliver a far more fulfilling holiday. Great skiing and a wonderful atmosphere make this chalet one of our more highly recommended.
