Today, 40 years later, Il Pellicano has become a world famous hotel. 

Composed of six cottages and a central body, Il Pellicano is more a cluster of villas than a traditional hotel. With 31 rooms, 9 junior suites and 10 deluxe suites surrounded by century-old olive trees and cypresses, it is the perfect location for relaxing holidays, exclusive events and select business meetings.

The central body of the hotel complex offers a pleasant succession of Tuscan-style corridors, vaulted ceilings, recesses and passages among whose twists and turns are hidden the main rooms of the hotel.

Outside, the bar and La Terrazza barbecue restaurant overlook the swimming pool and the Argentario coast, while a nearby lift leads directly to the hotel’s private beach.

Dining

The hotel’s Michelin star restaurant offers top quality local and international cuisine in a delightfully refined atmosphere. During the summer season, meals can also be enjoyed along with spectacular sea views on the panoramic terrace.

More informal lunches are served in La Terrazza restaurant, where guests can enjoy the freshest barbecued meat and fish as well as a rich buffet of salads, seasonal vegetables and desserts. The pasta of the day is served at the table.
