With magical views across the rolling Tuscan hills to the towers of Siena, Palazzetto sits in a glorious position with delightful gardens full of lavender and rosemary and a most attractive pool area below the house. Dating back to the early 1600’s this classical Tuscan farmhouse is the kind of property many guests dream of finding. Old terracotta floor tiles, beamed ceilings and original arches have all been carefully used in the restoration of Palazzetto.  Entering the house, one cannot fail to be impressed by the wonderful feeling of space and the clever use of fabrics and furnishings – the downstairs living room is vast yet welcoming whilst the kitchen is also large and equipped for the keenest of cooks wishing to create delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients. The kitchen leads out to a very pretty covered loggia area with lovely big Moroccan tiled round table – the ideal venue for lazy lunches or dinner on a warm and balmy summer’s evening.

Upstairs, there is another equally stunning and appealing sitting room with huge open fireplace and entertainment system – perfect for families with teenagers or a cosy place to relax by the fire in the evenings of late autumn. Each of the bedrooms is beautifully furnished and decorated in soft colours and luxurious bathrooms add to the comfort and high standard throughout Palazzetto. The owner has cleverly used appealing Moroccan and Italian furnishings whilst maintaining the rustic and original character of the property thus creating a captivating home.

Outside, one can enjoy barbecues on the original brick oven by the pool or drinks on the lawn behind the house. There is plenty of space for a large group of friends taking the whole property and lots to do in the area provided one can draw oneself away from the peace and charm of Palazzetto. Siena, Arezzo, Florence and the many pretty villages of Chianti (not to mention the wineries!) are all nearby as are many excellent restaurants where one can sample some of the typical dishes and wines of the region. With its stunning views, luxurious accommodation and incredible location in the heart of Tuscany, Palazzetto is the perfect venue for families or groups of friends.
