Entre Molins is a fantastic property for a family or group of friends who are looking to enjoy the best the Mediterranean has to offer. Life revolves around the terrace yet small excursions can be made to the pretty harbours, beaches and coves of the south coast.
The house has been lovingly and meticulously restored in a contemporary and minimalist style to an extremely high standard. The modern-art-dealer owners have combined the best of modern living with contemporary decoration to create a fusion of homely beauty in the best of Mediterranean settings. Olive trees, orange groves, lavender and rosemary combine to provide a perfect natural habitat in which to blend in slick terracing and a dark blue water swimming pool. The garden has been landscaped with a great deal of care and attention. The pool is set up on a terrace so as to create least impact on the environment and a couple of shady areas have been laid out with cushions and chairs to provide quiet spots with good views.
Entering directly into the open plan reception room, one is struck by the amazing view through the five sets of French windows out onto the terrace and to the sea beyond. The large terrace which stretches the whole length of the house has been cleverly set up with a sitting area and an eating area – all in high quality wood with fine white cushions. Pretty and aromatic candles together with the excellent sound system create a wonderfully warm ambience in this truly stylish home. It is a fantastic room for entertaining or relaxing.
Upstairs the rooms are white and the bathrooms are examples of fine travertine marble and stainless steel designer taps.
The thriving village of S’Alqueria Blanca is only 1km away, within easy walking distance of the café, the newspaper shop where international papers are readily available, the excellent tapas bar, Italian restaurant and many other services.
The very pretty pine-clad sandy beach and cove of Cala Mondrago is just 8kms down a country lane. And if that is too busy it is possible to walk round the headland either way to more deserted and pretty coves. The little harbour of Porto Petro is also just 10 minutes away and here there are numerous quayside cafes and restaurants. Here you can find boats to hire to explore those coves you cant’ reach by foot or even a one day boat ride to the bird sanctuary island of Cabrera. Cala d’Or is another pretty harbour within easy reach, with amongst all other services, an excellent restaurant.
