Surrounded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and gardens, Villa Corti provides the perfect retreat for those wanting to relax in full Tuscan style. From the spacious terrace that surrounds the house, with sunbeds and chairs in both sunny and shady areas, one can enjoy uninterrupted views over the surrounding hills. Renowned for its large grounds and formal gardens, one can easily find a peaceful and quiet spot to absorb the atmosphere of this special place.

Just a few steps down from the villa is the unique stone-lined pool, which has a gentle slope to the deep end, and one can relax and sunbathe on the large pool terrace, listening to the sounds of local wildlife.

Blending comfort with elegance, the interior does not disappoint. There is a welcoming sitting room with plenty of seating and an open fireplace. There are plenty of dining options with the staff preparing breakfast and one meal daily, either in the spacious dining room with its high beamed ceiling or, for more informal meals, there is the fully equipped and welcoming kitchen. Alternatively, you may choose to dine al fresco on the terrace, where one can take pleasure in those breathtaking views and sounds of nature. For those quiet moments, one can retreat to the spacious library upstairs. For indoor fun, the Billiard room has a full-sized table for your party to enjoy, yet there is plenty to do outdoors where you can play Bocce (Petanque) on the villa’s own shaded pitch or tennis on the Astroturf court.

The rooms themselves are all individually decorated, with charming antiques, paintings and period furniture adding to the Tuscan flavour. The Master bedroom, with its magnificent canopied bed, has a lovely private balcony, from where you can enjoy a quiet sundowner and views over the countryside and the pretty parterre.

Villa Corti is an ideal retreat for two families or groups of friends to savour this beautiful part of Italy, yet with a well-known local restaurant within a brief walk and an excellent cook service in the villa, you might find it difficult to tear yourselves away!
