Chalet Bear is one of the few remaining family owned old log chalets in Klosters, built into the side of hill giving outstanding views across the valley, it has been lovingly restored to include luxurious state of the art bathrooms and kitchen, cosy sitting rooms and bedrooms within its ‘chocolate box’ exterior.

Chalet Bear is beautifully presented throughout with fine bed linens, towels and tableware. The bathrooms and kitchen are state-of-the-art and the whole chalet, which ranges over four floors, has been fitted with a centralised CD music system. There is also a study with a computer to give you fast internet access. The drawing room has SKY TV, a plasma screen and DVD player.
The chalet is fully catered, with the wonderful chef providing breakfast daily and afternoon tea in the cosy sitting room in front of the fire. He also prepares and cooks four delicious evening meals for you and, if you wish, additional meals can be included at an extra cost.
Conveniently located within walking distance of the lifts and the centre of the village, Chalet Bear also has its own garage, parking spaces outside and at the foot of the drive leading up to the chalet. It also has its own garden.
Klosters offers an enviable snow record with some of the longest runs (12km) and most exciting skiing in the world. Long a favourite with European Royal families and with an international clientele, it has opted to remain a very welcoming, traditional Swiss village, catering to families who return generation after generation; small, low-key, exclusive and away from the tourist main market.

The Service
Daily housekeeping
The chef cooks and serves breakfast and afternoon tea daily, and provides dinner on four nights. Additional meals can be arranged at an extra cost. All food and drink is charged extra.
Concierge services include arrangment of ski passes, ski equipment hire, ski lessons, taxis restaurant bookings, massage, non-skiing activities.
Staff have one night off a week. |
