Both the main house and the separate guest cottage – a converted chapel - have been designed by the owner with tremendous empathy to the serenity of the natural surroundings and traditional stone is used throughout to create cool, light, welcoming interiors, combined with thoughtfully positioned sun terraces and shaded dining loggias to optimise outdoor living, entertaining and enjoyment of the wonderful seascapes. It is a perfect family retreat, with interesting gardens for the children to explore, as well as private, easy access into the sea - perfect for snorkelling!
A particular feature of Olive Bay is the exceptional attention to detail to ensure guests have all they could wish for from their stay. From chartering a private plane or yacht, sourcing fine wines to organising a private chef, additional housekeeping or shopping services. Nothing is too much trouble.
The beauty and tranquility of the natural environment combined with the stylish open-plan design and comfort of the living spaces is what makes Olive Bay a very special and truly unrivalled experience.
The living rooms and bedrooms all open out onto terraces with sea views. The well equipped kitchen and dining room have all the facilities expected of a home of this calibre. There is also a large outdoor summer kitchen with spacious barbecue area and additional utility room with a washing machine.
The main house - all on one level - and the cottage combined can accommodate up to 10 people, 7 in the main house and 3 in the cottage. In the main house, the Master suite has a king size bed plus day beds that provide a comfortable sitting area. Alternatively, this room becomes an ideal family suite for two children to share their parents’ room. It has an en suite shower room and a large covered loggia plus a terrace. Another private wing of the main house has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, another with a large single bed. These two rooms share a bathroom and toilet. This wing enjoys its own east facing loggia that catches the morning sun and cooling afternoon shade. The pretty guest cottage features a delightful galleried double bedroom, further day bed downstairs that provides a comfortable sitting area or can be used to sleep an additional person, and a separate shower room and toilet. It opens onto a shaded south facing loggia with magnificent views over the gardens and the sea beyond.

People are drawn to the fishing village of Milna for its unspoiled island living, sheltered bays, spectacular boating and exclusive lifestyle. It is within walking distance, about 2.5 kilometres, and has an outdoor market, fresh fish, grocery shop, restaurants and beaches. Ships large and small have visited Milna Harbor for over 400 years.
Brac – famous for its stone masons and artists – provides plenty to do all year round, from the grape harvest in September, olive pressing in November to wildflowers in early spring.
The island is also easily accessible. From Split Airport you can take a ferry to the port of Supetar, just 45 mins (25 mins by private boat). Milna is then a 20 minute drive along the coast from Supetar, or alternatively taxis are plentiful at the ferry port and airport.
