Located on a hilltop overlooking Lake Trasimeno, Casa le Nebbie is an ideal family villa, perfectly situated to discover this lovely region of Italy. Umbria - the green heart of Italy - is blessed with art, history, mountains, medieval towns, hills and valleys. Enjoy Italian gastronomic delights, such as dark and white truffles, olive oil, wine, fresh fruit and vegetables in one of the many local restaurants nearby. Casa le Nebbie has been newly restored to the highest standards and simply and tastefully furnished using traditional Italian materials in a modern style. Just imagine yourself unwinding in the evening with a glass of chilled champagne on the terrace, enjoying the  panoramic sunset views over the beautiful Lake Trasimeno.

Inside, heavy handmade chestnut doors and dark handmade terracotta floors combine with light walls and beautiful daylight gives a peaceful and cosy atmosphere. The ground floor accommodation is very spacious with its open plan design and handmade tiled floors. In Winter the house is cosy and warm due to its under floor heating. Spend your evenings relaxing into the soft, large sofas in front of the antique marble fireplace in the sitting room. Whilst dining, you can also enjoy the open fireplace that heats the dining room and kitchen. There is a comfortable indoor temperature in the hotter months, due to the substantial walls and shutters. The living areas also open out onto the expansive terrace that surrounds the house, ensuring you take full advantage of the summer breezes. The sunlit dining room enjoys a beautiful view of the lake, has seating for 12 and an talian chestnut table, antique glass cabinet and antique italian chandelier.

The house has four double bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own marble bathroom en suite. The master bedroom has a large marble en suite bathroom and there is a lovely view of the lake which you can enjoy whilst unwinding in the bath. There is also a large private balcony with views of the lake and afternoon/evening sun. If you have extra guests, there is the option of using two extra sofa beds in the bay off the sitting room on the ground floor. One bedroom has a French style balcony and is decorated in the French style with toile de jouy bedding and inlaid panels on the wardrobes. The en suite bathroom has been thoughtfully laid out to incorporate a baby changing area, if required. One of the bedrooms has a picturesque lake view and is simply furnished with Gustavian (Scandinavian) furniture.

The infinity pool, from which you can enjoy stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside, is surrounded by a spacious terrace tiled in travertine marble and has plenty of space for sunbathing on one of the comfortable sun loungers. The fenced and gated garden is large and private, and includes olive trees, old fashioned roses and an avenue of cypress trees. There is also a carport for three cars.
