El Goute is a large, traditional Moorish style single storey property, located in peaceful countryside within a private estate of three hectares. Situated to the south of Marrakech, it has stunning views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.
On entering the villa you will be met by the large atrium that covers a beautiful inner courtyard decorated in traditional Moroccan style. As the property is laid out on one level you will find all the rooms lead off from this central point. There is also access to an enclosed garden from the Atrium.
Outside the villa boasts a spacious landscaped garden, with a heated swimming pool large enough for swimming lengths and enjoying beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains. The living areas are of a good size and include two sitting rooms: one furnished with European décor, and one in Moroccan style. The dining room comfortably seats eight and the kitchen is well equipped with modern fittings. The staff are friendly and efficient, and are happy to help in any way.
Morocco is a country steeped in history and traditional culture, blessed with some spectacular landscapes and there are plenty of activities and day trips available for when you tire of lying by the pool. Marrakech has a thousand-year-old history and its mosques, fountains, palaces and legendary Djemaa-el-Fna square make it an exclusive cultural destination. Enjoy a traditional dish on a restaurant patio, pamper yourself in one of the city’s many hammams, spend an unforgettable night in one of its trendy nightclubs or take an excursion to the mountains or the desert. Popular day excursions from Marrakech include visiting the desert city of Ouarzazate, which is renowned for its Taourirt Casbah and traditional Quazguita carpets.

From Imlil, also nearby, travellers can ride a mule to the Aremd hamlet to view Morocco’s highest mountain peak, Toubkal. The coastal town of Safi is another enticing possibility, with a magnificent medina, old fort and beautiful beach. You are also just a 25 minute drive from the Amanjena Hotel and two of the best golf courses in Marrakech, with several more courses being planned in the area.
