As its name suggests, the villa occupies an elevated position with panoramic views towards the Atlantic ocean. It is set in quiet and peaceful countryside, yet is no more than 15 minutes drive to shops, beaches and golf courses.

The entrance hall with its terracotta tiled floors looks through to the large sitting room with open fireplace. Wide double doors lead out onto the main balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The dining room comfortably seats eight or dining al fresco on the balcony can easily accommodate ten adults. There are two bedrooms on this level – a double and a twin - and both access the main terrace from where you can enjoy those wonderful views. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stairway that provides access down to the large sitting/games room and lower bedroom.

The Master suite is found on the upper level, and is of a high standard with king size bed, separate dressing area, sitting area and shower and Jacuzzi bathroom en suite. There is also a twin room with its own en-suite bathroom on this level and both bedrooms have French windows leading onto the upper terrace.

Downstairs there is a fabulous games room equipped with football table, ping pong table and large seating area. A further bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower room which is shared with the living area. There are large doors leading from the seating area out to a wide terrace with ample sunbeds or seating for lunch by the swimming pool and the pretty landscaped gardens.

This villa is located in Goldra which is delightfully situated in an elevated location and enjoys spectacular views towards Albufeira in one direction and Tavira in the other. You are just a few minutes drive from Loule, a charming typically Portuguese inland town which was once a Roman settlement and where the remains of a ruined castle can still be seen in the old quarter. An indoor market is held here six days a week, which is excellent for fish, fruit and vegetables. The wide avenues, bordered by pavement bars, cafes and restaurants, provide many distractions and the town offers a wide variety of shopping. Almancil is just 15 minutes away from the property, as too are the beaches and golf courses of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. Neighbouring Vilamoura lies at the heart of golfing country, with some of the worlds best golf courses being found here, along with its marina, many pleasant beaches, dramatic cliff top walks and all manner of water sports.
