Finca Carolina, Ronda, Andalucia, Spain (Sleeps 10)

Finca Carolina has been lovingly decorated by its owners in an international style, and furnished with the emphasis on providing guests with luxurious home comforts. There are many personally selected antiques and artifacts collected by the owners over many years. The large sitting room has numerous relaxing sofas and chairs, a satellite TV and a music system. An archway leads through to a beautifully appointed kitchen/dining room that comfortably seats ten guests. There is a large range cooker, two fridge freezers, and a dishwasher, a separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer and a guest cloakroom on the ground floor. Finca Carolina has full central heating to keep you cosy in the winter and overhead fans in all rooms to keep you cool during the summer months.

The main accommodation comprises a fabulously spacious master suite with a very large and airy ensuite bathroom with extra large bath, bidet, separate shower and double basins. There are four other double bedrooms, two of which have pretty ensuite bathrooms. Bedroom four and five share a bathroom. All the first floor bedrooms have french doors opening on to a large terrace offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
One could easily spend all one’s time outside the villa, where there are large terraces surrounding both the villa and pool, including a large covered loggia, perfect for dining al fresco. There is a superb 15 metre swimming pool with an ornamental fountain, and plentiful sunbeds for soaking up the sun. The gardens are predominantly laid to lawn, yet also contain a wealth of fragrant flowers, mature shrubs and trees and has its own well.
A real bonus at Finca Carolina and to ensure you enjoy a completely relaxed stay, the owner is also a fabulous cook and provides many guests with sumptuous rustic feasts for al fresco lunches and dinners.

The Estate comprises just three villas, all set in their own private and secluded gardens. It is located just ten minutes west of Ronda, on a quiet country lane, and close to the ruined ancient Roman city of Acinipo or the village of Arriate. To one side of the estate are spectacular views of the Sierra de Ronda and to the other a beautiful vista of fertile, undulating farmland. It is just over an hour from the international airports of Malaga and Jerez whilst Seville and Gibraltar are about one and a half hours away.

The golden sand beaches of the Costa del Sol are as close as 45 minutes drive from Ronda, perfect for enjoying the sun without the noise and crowded restaurants of areas filled with package holiday makers. The nearest beaches are at San Pedro, less than an hour from Finca Carolina whilst the unspoilt beaches of the Atlantic coast can be reached in a little under two hours. An oasis of calm and tranquility, this is a superb location from which to explore Andalucia.
