Visible beyond the entrance hall, is a sunken courtyard and beautifully sculpted swimming pool, shaded with vines, nestling beneath the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain itself and, beyond, the wide African sky. Reminiscent of a Roman bathing pavilion, one may dive into the cool clear waters, after a day exploring the fascinating cultural and historic sights of Cape Town.

Relax in the wonderfully proportioned salon in front of the open fire, decorated in an individual Afro-colonial style incorporating an eclectic mix of objects d’art, antiques and stacks of old books. The bedrooms are positioned in each corner of the house for maximum privacy - each is furnished differently whilst all conform to the charming colonial theme with many details that delight - with antique tapestries, sheer fabrics and chandeliers, to create a haven of calm.
