Kalithea is located at the end of an exclusive and very under-populated peninsular where one can enjoy complete privacy and tranquility. Surrounded by olive trees and built on the wooded hillside, Kalithea enjoys spectacular views of the island of Skorpios, well-known for its link with the Onassis family.

Kalithea is built on several levels, each with terraces and views overlooking the islands. All the rooms have been tastefully finished with neutral soft furnishings that add to the elegance and space of the house as well as subtle and sympathetic lighting. The well-equipped kitchen on the top level has everything to please, from the amateur cook to the professional chef, and the French doors leading directly onto the large terrace make dining al fresco a must. 

Bedrooms are located on three levels and four of the five light and airy bedrooms open directly onto terraces with sea views. Great attention has also been given to the shower rooms that include small tiles and Philippe Starck fittings. The large swimming pool is no less of a spectacle, with curved steps and mosaic tiles of blues and greens that look exquisite when floodlit at night and a great spot from which to enjoy the ever-changing sea views whilst sipping a chilled glass of wine!

Often the best way to view these beautiful islands is by boat and guests at Kalithea are fortunate to be given access to a private mooring within ten minutes walk of the house. There is also a small private beach, perfect for the children to paddle and look for marine life. For the more energetic water sports fanatics just thirty minutes away is the town of Vasiliki which is world-renowned for its incredible sailing and windsurfing.

The small village of Geni is only five minutes drive away with several charming tavernas which are literally perched on the water’s edge on a small inlet and popular with those visiting by yacht. A five minute boat ride or ten minutes by car with take you to the town of Nidri where there is a vibrant atmosphere all day long.
