La Provence brings all the wonderful amenities of this part of the Cape to one’s doorstep and, in addition, offers the luxury of space and spectacular views, in a leafy area of Llandudno. Set amongst its lush gardens, beautifully shaded in the warmer months, the terraces command stunning views of the ocean and beaches below, whilst the mountains that surround this area provide a spectacular backdrop.
The villa itself is laid out with an emphasis on spaciousness and comfort. Accommodation is split over two floors and there is also a completely separate cottage in the garden, incorporating bedroom with bathroom en suite and a sitting room and kitchenenette - ideal for teenagers or a couple wanting a little more privacy.
La Provence is only a short walk from the tennis courts, down a path that leads from the garden and, a key to the courts comes with the house. Llandudno beach is similarly close and Camps Bay and Hout Bay are just minutes away by car, whilst the centre of Cape Town and the waterfront restaurants, shops and entertainment are also within fifteen minutes’ drive.
The very desirable Llandudno and Constantia areas have become so popular because they offer all these activities or, if the mood suits, the choice to simply sit on the terrace, admire the views, relax by the pool or play tennis. Certainly guests at La Provence will enjoy making these difficult decisions and be able to sip their sundowners overlooking the ocean before tackling the next day’s itinerary.
