A Journey to Rome, Orvieto & Assisi
Join Manchester Diocese on a pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi, following in the footsteps of the Apostles, saints, and some of the Church's most inspiring witnesses to faith.
Our pilgrimage begins in the Eternal City of Rome, where the rich history of the early Church comes alive in its magnificent basilicas, ancient streets, and holy shrines. We then travel to the peaceful hill town of Assisi, home of St Francis, St Clare, and Blessed Carlo Acutis, whose lives continue to inspire pilgrims with their witness of holiness.

Along the way, we will visit the historic city of Orvieto and explore places closely associated with St Francis, including San Damiano and the Hermitage of the Carceri, where he sought silence and communion with God.
