Pilgrimage to Poland:
Krakow, Wadowice & Czestochowa

The Story of a Pope who changed the World

Embark on a transformative pilgrimage to Poland, a land rich in Catholic heritage and the birthplace of two of the most beloved saints of the 20th century: St. John Paul II and St. Maria Faustina Kowalska. This journey takes you to the sacred places where their lives and faith left a firm mark on the Church and the world.

We begin in Krakow, the city where St. John Paul II spent much of his life as Archbishop before being elected Pope. Visit the Wawel Cathedral, where he was ordained and later celebrated Mass, and the Archbishop’s Palace, where he lived during his time as bishop. We’ll also have the chance to visit the Lagiewniki Shrine of Divine Mercy, dedicated to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, the visionary who received the message of Divine Mercy. It is here that her spiritual journey came to fruition, and it is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites for those devoted to the Divine Mercy devotion.

We will also travel to Wadowice, the humble birthplace of St. John Paul II, where you’ll see his childhood home and the church where he was baptised. Reflect on his early years and the deep faith that shaped his later ministry.

Finally, we journey to Czestochowa, home to the Black Madonna, one of the most venerated Marian icons in the world. Pilgrims have travelled to this site for centuries to seek the intercession of Our Lady of Czestochowa, a symbol of strength, hope, and faith for the people of Poland.

This pilgrimage is a profound opportunity to walk in the footsteps of two saints whose lives were marked by extraordinary faith and devotion, deepening your own relationship with God and honouring the legacy of St. John Paul II and St. Faustina Kowalska.
