​​Our pilgrimage begins in Turin, the former royal capital of Italy and hometown of Pier Giorgio Frassati, set against the backdrop of the Alps. Here we reflect on the life of this joyful young man whose deep love for the Eucharist and service to the poor made him a beloved witness of modern holiness.

Pilgrims will visit the Frassati family home and travel to the nearby Sanctuary of Oropa, a Marian shrine he loved to visit in the mountains.​ Turin is also home to the revered Shroud of Turin, inviting pilgrims to prayerful reflection on Christ’s Passion that so inspired Frassati’s life.

From the Alps we continue south to Assisi, long associated with Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Clare of Assisi, and now also with Carlo Acutis. Visiting the place where Carlo’s body rests, we reflect on his simple path to holiness through daily Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and joyful faith.​​​
